Attending the Sexual Violence Research Initiative Forum 2024 was a great experience. The diverse range of speakers brought fresh perspectives and invaluable insights the field of sexual violence research. It felt empowering to be part of a community dedicated to creating change and fostering dialogue on such an important topic. I believe that evidence-based interventions are crucial not only for enhancing program effectiveness, but also for ensuring that these initiatives truly benefit the communities they serve. The development of the Get4Youth Package reflects this principle; it addresses the challenges faced by adolescents in Indonesia while actively involving them in the process. Rather than being mere beneficiaries, adolescents play a vital role as agents of change in crafting solutions to these issues. Also, we are pleased to introduce a human-centered design approach in developing the prototype, and the audience's positive response has left a lasting impression. Engaging with numerous researchers and activists at the SVRI forum invigorates our commitment to fostering a gender-equitable environment, as we work collectively to build a violence-free world.
