Celia Karp Earns a PhD
Celia Karp recently graduated from the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with her PhD and works as a senior technical advisor on the Global Early Adolescent Study. Her adolescent-focused research portfolio explores psychosocial determinants of reproductive health, specifically, youth perspectives about pregnancy, decision-making and empowerment related to childbearing and family planning, and quality of care for reproductive health services. Through her research, Celia seeks to enhance understanding and measurement of factors contributing to sexual and reproductive health outcomes and inequities, particularly those affecting youth in low-resource contexts.
