Gender-Transformative Interventions: The Impact and Effectiveness Among Very Young Adolescents

Gender-transformative interventions, which seek to critically examine gender norms to increase gender-equitable attitudes and behaviors, may be particularly relevant for very young adolescents. While gender socialization starts at birth, early adolescence is a critical point of intensification of gender attitudes and beliefs, as puberty reshapes perceptions and expectations of self and social expectations from others.

Join us for an informative discussion where we will present insights from our recently released research supplement, share lessons learned from two gender-transformative interventions, and look at implementation and impact among adolescents.
