Shoshanna Fine, PhD, MPH
Shoshanna Fine is an Assistant Scientist in the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and works closely with the GEAS.
Her research centers around investigating and improving mental health and well-being among vulnerable populations domestically and globally, with an overall focus on children and adolescents living in adversity. She is also interested in the development and implementation of mental health interventions in low-resource contexts, community-based participatory approaches, and mixed methods research.
Prior to joining the GEAS team, Shoshanna pursued her PhD in Mental Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She holds an AB in English from Harvard College and a MPH in Global Health and Population from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She has worked in a wide range of settings around the globe, including Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Kenya, Tanzania, and Papua New Guinea.
